Links between ouija board

Carousel = time split
silhouettes
The ouija board is a typical object in ghost stories and shows as it is a common and typical way to contact spirits, so, i used it to my advantage and spelt out "NICK", to show the link between them and Nicholas Cage.
As previously explained, the carousel represents the time split and shows the time just between her summoning the spirit and her getting chased.
The silhouettes are the shadows of the ghosts chasing her. This is shown by the silhouettes, and later on by the people with the Cage masks on

cropping the video

This is a still from my video, where I have used the cropping tool on my whole video to able it to look neater, cleaner and more professional.
To make this crop, i used the mask tool to make the black out line on the top and bottom of the video thicker and thiner.
it was kinda hard make it straight though.

Carousel

This carousel footage represents many things for the video, such asa travel in time, however the most appropirate representation for the video is that she is being chased in circles as she can't actually go anywhere. The bright colours represent the highlights in her life on the journey, but are blurred out, as shown by the prism effect.

intro
For my introduction to my music video, to have decided to use an obvious and non ambiguous introduction to the narrative of my video. This is because the rest of the narrative is ambiguous as I wanted it to be left open to interpretation.
I used the back drop of a fire to set the cult like feel for the rest of the video. the black and white filter on the fire allows for it to seem more gothic and establish an evil atmosphere.

Flashing sections

These images are screenshots from my video, from a second. The changes between narrative and performance should show a link between the two. The link that is meant to be made is between the lyrics which is dictating and narrating the horrors the woman's going through. The three clips of her cloak represent the three stages of emotion and the three parts of equilibrium she will experience till the end of the song. This is a technique that is used in Metallica's Sandman.

Quick Cuts
These extremely quick cuts should show the speed of the story and how quickly everything can change. I added filters and edited the colours to be able to distort the view and show how the story will distort and change. I used quick cuts on this part of her cloak to show the fast progression of the song and story, this also shows her quick footsteps to indicate she is sprinting from the evil sprit.

Poster 3

Here I have used the opacity adjuster to make the body blend in with the background to not make it too bright and obnoxious.

Here I have used the 'Shadow/Highlight' editing tool and the 'brightness/contrast' tool to help further the blending but also make certain sections brighter, to draw subtly more attention to it

Here on the hands and the face i have used the paint tool to lighten and create highlights to make it look slightly more cartoon like and more appealing. I have also done the same thing on the lettering to allow for the words to look more 3D and attractive.

Photoshoot with Jack
These images here will be plastered and layered on top of each other to re create and imitate other album covers.
These photos will be layered on top of each other in an alternate colour scheme with a blurred out background.

These two photos will photoshoped and have a skull over them, which is typical of my genre.
This image was favored most by my target audience as it is the most cult like and Gothic and when photoshoped with a dark background will look very effective.Tuesday, 2 February 2016
