Attila insperation

I chose to use Attila as a main source of inspiration for my video as they described as metal core and death core, yet they have many conventions of other genres, so they are subverting the typical themes of normal metal, which is what I aim to do, but with other genres. The genres i want to use in my video are black metal, metal core, punk pop and garage.

Here is a scene that is meant to be ominous and suspicious. I have changed the colours using the colour adjustment tool where I am able to change the general colour, shadows, mid tones and the highlights to what i wish to help manipulate the mood.

I then layered the coloured film over the normal filtered footage, which would create a flashing effect which is a common theme in metal videos/

Here I used 'prism' to give it an old VHS theme with the RGB exposure, making it look trippy
and as if they are altering the viewing process.

I then shifted the layer to make it look more 3D and scary.

I then lowered the opacity to allow for the original image to be over lapped and look like
Charlies ghost.
